Netsoft Completes 28th Placement at Ruckus Wireless

Founded in 2004, Ruckus  invented the market for smart access points, selling wireless solutions to both Service Providers and Enterprise Customers worldwide, including their Wireless Broadband Access and 3/4GO products. Ruckus went public in November 2012 and sports a market value over $1 billion.

Netsoft began working with Ruckus in 2005 when the company was just 25 people.

Netsoft has now placed seven VPs, Sr Directors and Directors, seven managers, and fourteen senior engineering and other professionals with Ruckus. Congratulations to Baleshwara Indharapu on his new position as Sr Escalation Engineer!

Silicon Valley, New York, Tel Aviv: Top Places for Tech Startups

Silicon Valley remains the world’s top environment for startups, according to the Startup Genome 2012 "Startup Ecosystem Report," which uses an index based on data from more than 50,000 startups around the world that are using the Startup Genome’s Startup Compass, an automated analyst in the cloud that helps businesses make decisions through benchmarks and actionable recommendations. While nearly all high-growth technology startups have historically emerged from no more than three to four startup ecosystems—particularly Silicon Valley and Boston—the study suggests this trend appears to have reached its end.

Now Hiring? Tips for Conducting Interviews

It's not always a candidate's fault when a job interview goes south.

Hiring managers can commit a litany of sins, such as interrupting interviews to answer phone calls, failing to take notes, acting bored or distracted, bad-mouthing their own companies, bullying applicants, or asking "gotcha" questions for no reason at all, say human-resources consultants. The cost of poor interviews ranges from bad hires to alienated job applicants.
